Indiana’s Forests Mitigate the Climate Crisis!
About the Partnership
IFA is the fiscal sponsor of Carbon Neutral Indiana, a dynamic new organization of leaders who see Indiana’s forests as key to addressing the climate crisis. IFA will work with and through CNI on several initiatives, including:
- Enabling households, businesses, and academic institutions to become carbon neutral by helping them measure their carbon footprint, purchase carbon offsets, and reduce their emissions;
- Establishing a library of resources about forest carbon sequestration rates and forest carbon policies; and
- Developing testimony on achieving carbon offsets from forests for legislation, policies, and programs by local and state governments.
