Being In Nature …

Lone TreeLike you, we are just beginning to find our footing in this uncertain time. The Indiana Forest Alliance Board of Directors and Staff hope that you and everyone in your family are staying healthy and well during this unprecedented situation in our lives.Being in Nature.

If you haven’t already done so, spend some time outside. Being in nature is good for your mind, body, and spirit. Wander through a nearby forest or woods, or take a quiet stroll along a tree-lined street to reflect on nature’s beauty. This just might be the perfect antidote for cabin fever. And just for fun, IFA welcomes your images and stories of your excursions on our social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram–your outing might lift someone else’s spirits.

Through it all, we at the Indiana Forest Alliance are committed to continuing our work to protect and preserve Indiana’s forests. While IFA’s staff is currently working from their respective homes, feel free to reach out to them by email or phone with any needs or questions, or perhaps simply to talk with an understanding friend.

Together, we will get through this. Please stay healthy and well,

Elizabeth Mahoney
President, IFA Board of Directors
