Canvass to Save Yellowwood State Forest

Seeking helping hands and friendly faces to spread the word about stopping the logging at Yellowwood. If you want to do your part to save this forest, please join us!

The State of Indiana is selling off 299 acres of our public forests in the Yellowwood Backcountry Area (BCA).?Join us as we canvas both Indianapolis and Brown County neighborhoods to save the Yellowwood State Forest BCA from logging!

The Brown County canvassing effort will be?Monday, November 6 leaving from the Gazebo in Nashville, IN. We will meet at the Gazebo in Nashville (the corner of Jefferson and West Main Street) at 3:30 p.m. for neighborhood/street assignments and head out from there.?Click here to RSVP on Signup.com to canvass in Brown County.

The Indianapolis canvassing effort will be Tuesday, November 7 leaving from the Indiana Forest Alliance office (2123 N. Meridian St.). The plan is to meet at the IFA office at 3:30 p.m. for neighborhood/street assignments and head out from there. Click here to RSVP on Signup.com to canvass in Indianapolis.?

Please wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.

Flyers will also be?available for pickup from the IFA office (2123 N. Meridian) for those wanting to canvass on their own.?
