We’re making our voices heard: citizens do not want 300 acres of the Yellowwood State Forest Back Country Area to be logged. The state only plans to get $108,000 for the sale: a low-bid sell-off of our natural heritage. Support for stopping the logging is only increasing. And Governor Holcomb could call it off in a heartbeat. Let’s make sure he knows the will of the people.?Face-to-face communication is so effective in advancing awareness!
Join us going door-to-door sharing flyers and offering yard signs in strategically-selected Indianapolis neighborhoods.? Here’s how:
- Show up for a two hour shift (see options below).
- Meet at the IFA office at 2123 N. Meridian in Indy (park behind the house or in the lot to the south).
- You’ll be given a 15-minute orientation with talking points.
- You’ll be paired up, given a map, and sent out to cover a few blocks.
