Fundraising Events Postponed.

The Indiana Forest Alliance is postponing all large, in-person fundraising events until 2021 out of an abundance of caution over the COVID-19 pandemic.

This includes the Forest-Foraged Feast, which was scheduled for Sept. 17 in Indianapolis, and the Wild & Scenic Film Festival that had been scheduled for this fall in Fort Wayne. Plans also are being made to hold IFA’s annual member meeting remotely. It is scheduled for Oct. 24.

“Our board of directors and staff feel this is the prudent step to take to help prevent the transmission of coronavirus and protect the health of our supporters,” said Jeff Stant, IFA’s executive director. “While we are disappointed we won’t be able to gather together in person, we will continue the important work of protecting our precious public forests with your support.”

Supporters may donate to IFA at  indianaforestalliance.org/join-ifa/.
