Meet the People Behind IFA's Work

Dave Seastrom

Interim Executive Director
Dave grew up in Indianapolis, attended Shortridge high school, and studied art at Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan. He moved to Brown County in 1976 and spent the next 16 years as a self-employed bench jeweler. After deciding that being a starving artist wasn’t cutting it, he transitioned into being a carpenter/house builder for the rest of his career.

He current resides with his wife Becky and their two dogs in the heart of Yellowwood State Forest in a house he built with his own two hands. Along with his forest preservation work he’s also a co-producer of the Brown County Radio Hour, on WFHB in Bloomington, Indiana.
