2022 Annual Member Meeting

When: Saturday October 29, 2022, 11:00am, meeting begins at 11:30am.

Where: Camp Belzer – 6102 Boy Scout Road, Indianapolis

What: Annual Member/Business Meeting to decide our agenda for 2023, final adopt our 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, and elect a new board member.

Pitch-in lunch with featured speaker Bill Eubanks, lead attorney on the Houston South lawsuit who will update members on that important legal battle and tell us what we must do to keep logging and burning from destroying the Buffalo Trace. An important announcement will also be made about the expansion of the Charles Deam Wilderness.

Panel discussion on the Forests for Indy initiative featuring Arborist Jerome Delbridge and Attorney Peter Racher who is working on the zoning battle and mobilization to save the forest along Buck Creek from industrial development.

Break-out discussion session for members to discuss IFA’s issues and provide input.

Plus a beautiful hike in the Camp Belzer woods along Fall Creek and plenty of time for socializing with IFA members!

Who: All IFA members whose membership is current.

Here are links to the Strategic Plan which was provisionally adopted at last year’s member meeting, and the proposed 2023 Action Plan to review these documents before the meeting.

NOTE: Guests may not bring alcohol onto the premises.

To receive a vote at the member meeting, you must be a current member of IFA. Your membership is current for one calendar year after dues are paid. Please note, membership dues start at $40/year for individuals or $60/year for households as of February 2022.
